Tennessee Corrections and Supervision

For a current or former state felony offender, begin with TDOC FOIL. Technical help is available at 629-888-5870 or 888-890-8183 and apps.support@tn.gov; substantive case questions belong with TDOC Constituent Services. To request an archived actual-release record, contact TDOC Records Management at 615-253-8079, Rachel Jackson Building, 2nd Floor, 320 6th Avenue North, Nashville, TN 37243-0465.

The District 81 office handles local probation and parole supervision. Parole decisions and hearing records belong to the Tennessee Board of Parole at 500 James Robertson Parkway, 4th Floor, Nashville, TN 37243-0850, 615-741-1150, or BOP.Webmail@tn.gov.

Ask the correct clerk for an existing docket, bond or release order, final judgment, sentencing or probation order, or sentence-termination record. A court order explains legal authority, while WCSO or TDOC records the physical custody event.

VINE, Federal, and ICE Routes

Tennessee VINE and TN SAVIN offer round-the-clock operator support at 888-868-4631, with TTY service at 866-847-1298. Use VINE for participating county or state notifications. It does not replace a release record and does not cover federal custody.

For a sentenced federal prisoner, use the BOP Inmate Locator. Federal pretrial custody may instead require the Middle District of Tennessee docket or a USMS records request. The federal clerk handles copy requests at 615-736-5498 or copyrequest@tnmd.uscourts.gov.

For immigration custody, use the ICE Online Detainee Locator. The ICE Detention Reporting and Information Line is 888-351-4024, Monday through Friday except holidays, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Eastern. A release from WCSO to ICE is a custodial transfer, not release to the community.
